To play on Stake, you must be 18 years of age or older and physically located in Alberta.
In most cases, your identity is verified automatically during registration using the details you provide. You will only be asked to upload an identity document if this automatic check cannot confirm your identity.
The following documents are acceptable as proof of identity:
Passport
Driver's licence (both sides)
Citizenship card
Alberta Photo Identification Card
Other types of documents will not be accepted. Municipal identification cards are not accepted. Please do not upload your Health Card, and never share your Social Insurance Number (SIN) with us. We will not collect these.
Your documentation must comply with the following criteria:
The document must be valid and not expired.
Images must be in high resolution and in colour.
The original image must be uploaded. Screenshots will not be accepted.
The document must be easily readable. Image cannot contain flash or blurriness.
Document must not be physically damaged.
The entire document must be visible in the image in a flat position.
Only photographed documents will be accepted. Documents in digital format are not allowed.
